We are working with a highly established and well-respected AWS consultancy partner that is entering an exciting growth phase and expanding its commercial team with four strategic hires. This role is ideal for a commercially driven AWS-focused sales professional who wants to work alongside deep technical expertise while operating in a collaborative, well-supported environment.
The Role
As AWS Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in driving new business growth and expanding strategic customer relationships across enterprise accounts.
You will work closely with an experienced marketing function, a highly skilled pre-sales and technical delivery team, and senior leadership to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and win high-value engagements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving net-new business opportunities within enterprise organisations
* Developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned to AWS-led solutions
* Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
* Collaborating with marketing, technical and delivery teams to develop compelling value propositions
* Leading complex sales cycles from discovery through to close
* Representing the business at industry events, including international conferences and customer engagements
* Supporting continued growth of the AWS practice through market insight and strategic input
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record in business development or enterprise sales within AWS/cloud consulting environments
* Experience selling bespoke software, cloud transformation, or custom development solutions
* Strong understanding of AWS ecosystem and partner landscape
* Comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work alongside technical teams
* Self-driven, proactive approach with a passion for building long-term client relationships
