ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Dementia Care Manager will involve overseeing the management of the Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company’s dementia care strategy, and managing resources within a specified budget.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that the care plan is accurate, reflects residents' needs and preferences, and is integrated into a person-centred care plan.
* Building caring relationships with residents and their families, liaising with them sensitively and appropriately, acting as an advocate for residents' best interests, and managing conflicts effectively.
* Collaborating with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with dementia and supporting the care team’s participation in these activities.
* Promoting a culture that maximizes residents' capabilities, independence, and quality of life.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
* A thorough understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
* Knowledge of care services businesses and the UK health and social care market.
