You'll be working on water and infrastructure programmes which could include heavy civils, micro-tunnelling, below ground structures, pipework, additional water treatment units and other water-related projects. Your key responsibilities will be: Preparation of feasibility and optioneering studies and their reports Coordinating the development of conceptual designs Overseeing and participating in the production and delivery of the calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports in line with the project requirements and programme Checking of design calculations and drawings prepared by other engineers Project Management activities, visits to site and client liaison Ensuring quality, safety and environment are ensured through use of the Integrated Management System Coordinating the delivery of your projects to time and budget, ensuring a high standard of technical quality and compliance with our internal management systems Ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current Standards, Codes of Practice and Best Practice Your skills. On top of that, youll have: A masters degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) Achieved Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (MICE or equivalent) Experience in a design environment working on water, utility or civil engineering projects within the UK or internationally A high level of competence in Micro Drainage modelling, Civil3D or equivalent industry standard modelling and design software A range of experience working in a design environment in the UK on a range of highways, rail, or civil infrastructure projects Be familiar with UK water industry, highway or rail standards and have a sound understanding of CDM Regulations Project management experience A full UK driving licence A place to work and so much more.
