Registered Manager
Service: Children's Residential Care (EBD)
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Salary: £50,000 to £54,000pa
This is a two-bed home in Coalville, designed for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Fully renovated and ready to go, the home has been set up with care and attention with a strong focus on calm, relational care and the systems to back that up.
You'd be stepping into a leadership role where the infrastructure is already in place. The provider behind the home runs 14 children's homes, all currently rated Good or Outstanding with Ofsted. They've got a track record of getting it right, offering managers the breathing space, support and tools to lead well.
What the job involves:
* Leading the home through Ofsted registration and beyond
* Recruiting and guiding a small, skilled team
* Managing day-to-day operations, care planning and safeguarding
* Building strong, trusted relationships with professionals, families and young people
* Setting the tone of the home, embedding good routines and practice from day one
What we're looking for:
* Experience as a Registered Manager or confident Deputy ready for registration
* Level 5 Diploma (or nearly completed)
* Good knowledge of the Children's Homes Regs and Quality Standards
* A reflective, organised leadership style that promotes consistency and accountability
* Full UK manual driving licence
