They are now looking to appoint a Nuclear Safety Lead Defence to drive growth, lead delivery, and build capability within their Bristol team.
The Opportunity This is a strategic leadership role within a growing defence nuclear business.
Youll play a key part in: Expanding defence frameworks and opening new client relationships Leading delivery of complex nuclear safety and assurance projects Providing technical leadership across submarine and defence platforms Building and scaling a high-performing Bristol team This is an opportunity to shape a business unit and influence major UK defence programmes.
What Youll Be Doing Leading safety case and assurance across the full lifecycle Providing technical leadership in safety-critical environments Managing projects, teams, and key client relationships Supporting business growth through bids and strategic engagement What Theyre Looking For Significant safety management experience in nuclear / defence environments Chartered / CEng (preferred) Strong background in submarines / naval systems Ideally ex-Royal Navy or similar pathway Proven leadership across people, projects, and clients Deep expertise in: Nuclear safety case Defence standards & regulation Complex engineering systems Package & Benefits (c.
