Position: Electronic Engineer
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Wakefield (Hybrid Working Available)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Wakefield. With over 30 years of industry experience, our client works with a range of leading organisations and is now investing in the development of innovative, next-generation products.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced electronics engineer who is passionate about emerging technologies and eager to expand their technical expertise within a forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Schematic capture and circuit design
* Design and development of multilayer PCBs, including layout
* Development of both analogue and digital electronics
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams including embedded software and mechanical engineering
* Contribution across the full product design lifecycle, from concept through to production
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in electronic design within an industry environment
* Strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design and layout
* Experience with schematic capture tools
* Solid understanding of analogue and digital circuit design
* Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Desirable Skills
* Experience using PCB design tools such as Altium or PADS
* Knowledge of LCD or touchscreen display integration
* Experience with Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)
