Applications are invited for an 8 PA Community Consultant Paediatrician with special interest in Neurodisability.
This post will be mainly based at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children which is on the St. Helier site, however cross site working is encouraged and may be required.
Main duties of the job
* General Community clinics, particularly Neurodisability clinics involving management of children with complex needs including epilepsy that impact on daily living activities and education.
* Support the department as required in medicals for looked after children.
* Safeguarding and child protection.
* Triaging referrals.
* Routine educational activities including weekly junior doctor teaching programme, quality meetings, child protection peer review and mortality & morbidity meetings.
Qualifications
* Years of experience.
* Experience in secondary care.
Community Paediatrics
* Experience working in community paediatrics.
* Working in community paediatrics in secondary care.
Required registration
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
