RAC is looking for a proactive and technically skilled Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic Security Operations team. This role is central to strengthening our cybersecurity posture through proactive monitoring, detection, and response across multiple domains including threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.

You’ll work closely with our Security Architect & Engineering Manager, delivering robust security operations and technical expertise while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce organisational risk. What You’ll Be Doing

12. Perform triage, analysis, and response actions to security alerts
13. Conduct cyber incident response including forensic analysis and reporting
14. Enhance detection capabilities across endpoint, network, and SIEM platforms
15. Apply threat intelligence and lead threat hunting activities
16. Support vulnerability and access management operations
17. Mentor junior analysts and advise technical teams


What You’ll Bring

18. CrowdStrike expertise is essential – hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon for endpoint detection and response
19. 2–3 years’ experience in SOC or incident handling
20. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and alert analysis
21. Knowledge of forensic techniques, incident response, and blue team defence strategies
22. Familiarity with threat hunting and detection engineering
23. Coding/scripting skills (advantageous)
24. Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to stay calm under pressure

Qualifications:
- Degree not required (BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar is a plus)
- Professional certifications (GCIA, GCIH, GCTI, GMON, CISSP) beneficial

Location & Salary

Hybrid – based at any RAC office (Bristol, Manchester, Midlands) with full flexibility and no fixed office days.
Salary aligned with market rates and experience. Company benefits & colleague share scheme also included.
