Role: Production Leader
Type: Full Time, permanent
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Working pattern: 4 day week
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Owen Daniels have partnered with a leading manufacturing company and we are recruiting for a Production leader due to growth in the business.
Production leader – Key responsibilities:
Lead daily SQCDP meetings, maintain clear communication with customers, and escalate key issues promptly.
Work with H&S to reduce risks, carry out safety audits, investigate incidents, and always ensure safe working practices.
Investigate customer concerns within agreed SLAs, maintain accurate QA records, and ensure all work meets company standards.
Manage productivity, control downtime, approve production hours, maintain delivery commitments, and coordinate effectively across departments.
Manage and develop team performance through QCD/SQCDP measures, coaching, CI activities, and structured training and development plans.
Production leader - Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum three years’ experience as a Production Leader.
Proven experience mentoring and managing teams.
Technical manufacturing experience, electrical is desirable.
Experience and understanding of SQCDP principles.
