The Role:
* The ideal candidate will be a proactive Veterinary Surgeon who is eager to grow and learn from an experienced team while developing their own interests.
* The practice encourages innovative thinking and is open to supporting projects that positively impact both the team and clients.
* The role involves building relationships with farmers during routine dairy herd health work.
* A sound understanding of cattle reproduction and ultrasound is required.
The Rota:
* The successful candidate will join a 1 in 10 rota, handling the day-to-day emergencies of a busy dairy-focused practice.
* Confidence in handling out-of-hours cases and a solid base of surgical skills are expected, typically from those with at least 2 years of farm vetting experience.
* The practice is open to flexibility with days and hours for the right candidate, with a preference for a full-time vet.
