Hays Education are working with a Bradford secondary school, who are looking for a Business Manager for a long-term job, to start ASAP until December 2025. The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust.
Your new role as Business Manager will be:
Part of the Senior Leadership Team you will be providing specialist advice and guidance to the Principal andernors in the strategic and day-to-day management of the school operations.
Providing strategic leadership and development of the business and resources functions of the school and its estate in line with overall Trust policies and procedures. Providing a strategic vision for all aspects of business services, including HR, facilities and estates, school administration, catering, IT,ernance and regulatory and health and safety.
Ensuring excellent relationships with students, staff and parents to ensure that an effective service is provided to all.
Supporting the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that their responsibilities to the School are effectively undertaken through delegation to the admin team
What you'll need to succeed as a Business Manager in this role:
Good with people from all types of backgrounds
Essential Qualifications : GCSE's x 5: A's to C's and Continuous Professional Development
Desirable Qualifications: a Degree, professional qualification in Business Management, Accountancy, Human Resources and/or Premises Management
Essential Experience: within a public / private sector setting in financial, HR, business and/or premises operations, managing administrative systems and procedures
Have reference-able, appropriate experience within the last 2 years
