Building Control Surveyor Remote (Projects in London)
We are seeking an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join our team, working on a variety of projects across London. This is a remote-based role with site visits as required, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse and high-profile developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage building control inspections for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects in London.
* Assess plans and specifications to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
* Conduct site inspections at key stages of construction to verify quality and compliance.
* Provide clear, professional advice to clients, contractors, and design teams.
* Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and certification.
* Liaise with local authorities, fire safety officers, and other relevant stakeholders.

* Proven experience as a Building Control Surveyor within the UK.
* Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, Approved Documents, and relevant standards.
* Membership or working towards membership of RICS, CABE, or similar professional body.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a flexible remote schedule.
* Located within reasonable travel distance to London for site visits.
