An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join Kingdom Academy Ltd. Job purpose: We are seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in apprenticeships and qualifications. Location: Home Based with travel to Kingdom Offices Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm or to meet the demands and objectives of the primary role. Salary: £45,000.00 Per Annum. Key Responsibilities: Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added: The ideal candidate will be confident promoting training programmes, vocational qualifications and solutions that support workforce development within social housing, construction and other sectors where leadership training is needed. You will be proactive and personable, with a talent for building strong relationships and understanding the specific training needs of housing providers. A results-driven attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present tailored solutions are key. Execute a targeted sales plan to drive personal revenue, margin, and market growth Take full ownership of your sales targets and use pricing tools to shape profitable deals Manage the full sales cycle and work closely with Bid, Ops, and Commercial teams to win contracts Proactively hunt new business and maximise cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Kingdom’s services Represent Kingdom’s brand, values, and credibility in all client interactions and presentations Leverage CRM, market intelligence, and customer feedback to continuously refine your sales approach The successful applicant will match the below skill set: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a sales or account management role in apprenticeships and qualifications within a training provider. You should be confident promoting training solutions and vocational qualification that support workforce development in areas as well as networking to drive partnerships. A strong understanding of business and marketing principles, operational demands and regulatory requirements and be able to use digital and new technologies to drive marketing and communications activities. The role requires the ability to understand, analyse and interpret data to inform business development plans as well as the technical skills to understand and propose products and training solutions that focus on client requirements. You’ll need to be comfortable engaging with clients both on-site and remotely, managing a sales pipeline, and meeting performance targets. This role also requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work well within a small, supportive team. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the travel involved.
