Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Operations Manager of the Montco Cultural Center position. Reporting to the Director of the Montco Cultural Center, the Operations Manager works collaboratively with the team to provide leadership for major college events and project management for programming. The Administrative Director plans, manages, executes, and evaluates marquee college events sponsored by the Office of the President and oversees operational aspects of the Montco Cultural Center, including financial operations and facilities use. This is a college-wide position, requiring some night and weekend hours, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

*This position requires the new employee to submit the PA State Police check, child abuse clearance, and FBI fingerprint results to HR prior to their first day of employment.

**This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement, which can be ended at any time by the college, cabinet, or supervisors based on employee performance and/or institutional needs.


Qualifications:

* 2-4 years of related experience in event management and/or project management.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, calendaring and ticketing systems, financial management platforms, and presentation programs.
* Ability to manage and meet multiple challenging deadlines.
* Self-directed with minimal supervision, adaptable to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of crowd management, safety protocols, and emergency procedures for gatherings of various sizes.
* Ability to meet budget and time constraints effectively.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Excellent customer service skills and mindset.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to assess and prioritize tasks independently and within a team.
