About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our clients Sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for securing profitable engineering contracts by developing technical and commercial proposals, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a design and manufacture who specialise in acoustic engineering and advanced engineering solutions across various sectors Key Responsibilities Proposal Development: Lead the creation of robust technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they are cost-effective, competitive, and aligned with customer requirements. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact during the sales process. Sales Pipeline Management: Evaluate enquiries, conduct bid/no-bid reviews, and proactively follow up on submissions to convert opportunities into contracts. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and financial risks in project proposals. Market Strategy: Develop business plans and market insights to identify new sales opportunities and expand profitability. Collaboration: Work with engineering, projects, and management teams to ensure seamless project handover and customer satisfaction. Performance Metrics: Achieve sales targets for revenue, profitability, and other KPIs while fostering a culture of excellence. Requirements Essential: HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business, or Manufacturing. Proven experience in technical sales, bid management, or a similar role within a relevant industry. Strong track record of meeting sales targets and managing customer relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Desirable: Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Experience in the Energy/Oil & Gas sector or knowledge of green energy transitions. Technical sales or account management experience.
