Position Available: Xero Specialist

About the Role:
A4G are looking for a Xero Specialist with at least two years’ experience in practice to join our team. In this role you will be an expert user of the Xero accounting software, helping clients with setup, training and ongoing support to manage their finances more efficiently. You will work independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use Xero accounting software to manage client accounts
* Provide training to clients on how to use the software features, from basic functions to more advanced reporting
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns
* Prepare management accounts including setting up reporting and providing feedback to clients or colleagues
* Communicate with clients directly to resolve queries
* Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency
* Identify and address discrepancies raising queries where necessary
Candidate Profile:
* Minimum of two years practice experience in bookkeeping, tax return preparation
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to apply technical knowledge practically
* Comfortable working directly with clients to provide support
* Confident written and verbal communication
* Professional, approachable, and motivated to deliver helpful, accurate advice
* Capable with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Xero certified
Support & Development:
We are happy to support those considering further study in AAT or relevant qualification.
