Job Description
Our Crick site has an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Stock and Systems Manager, the Stock Controller plays a vital role in maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse.
Working hours:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Salary:
£12.96 per hour.
Key Duties of a Stock Controller:
1. Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and dispatched loads, and amend and rework accordingly.
2. Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
3. Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity, ensuring all checks are completed first.
4. Hold and Release process.
5. Assist in the management of the pallet database.
6. Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
7. Complete daily reports on a daily and weekly basis.
8. Assist Stock Management with investigations.
9. Handle additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, and samples.
Qualifications
1. Previous stock controller experience is essential.
2. Flexibility to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
3. A high level of attention to detail.
4. Ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
5. Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
6. In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
