* Carry out mechanical fitting activities on medium and large rotating electrical machines, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
* Promote and maintain strong health & safety practices on site, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with approved procedures and documentation.
* Support project delivery by monitoring progress against plans and proactively highlighting risks or delays.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure quality records, checks, and documentation are completed prior to and during site works.
* Represent the business professionally while working on customer sites, maintaining clear communication and high standards of workmanship.
Mechanical Fitter Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* Proven experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or Winder within an engineering or site-based environment.
* Demonstrable experience working on rotating electrical machinery, including AC and DC motors and generators.
* Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
* Flexible approach with the willingness to travel nationally and internationally, sometimes at short notice.
