Uniting is proudly leading this movement, and we’re on the lookout for a passionate, people‑loving Early Help Practitioner to join our School & Community Engagement team. In this role, you’ll: Be a champion for family wellbeing, offering practical and relational support that celebrates diversity. Help strengthen families early, boosting confidence and connection in meaningful ways. Provide brief, evidence‑informed support to families with emerging needs, including: Parent coaching Warm referrals Outreach support Group programs and community activities Work closely with schools, early years services, and community organisations to: Identify emerging needs early Strengthen family functioning Promote child wellbeing Build capability across universal services, empowering them to respond confidently and effectively. Your skills and experience A relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience relevant to community services practice. Demonstrated experience providing short-term, goal-focused, early intervention support to children, young people, and/or families with emerging needs. View the position description here.
