We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trimmer to join our Trim Shop working on a nightshift. Working at the cutting edge of composite manufacturing, you will be part of a fast-paced, high-performance environment where precision and technical excellence are essential.
Responsibilities
* Trimming, assembling and bonding of composite components and assemblies to an excellent standard and to a set production schedule.
* Proficient use of hand and air tools to achieve objectives.
* Perform visual and structural repairs to composite components.
* Performing TPM on tools and equipment within the Composite Trim department.
* Successfully meeting challenging and demanding deadlines.
* The ability to multitask whilst remaining organised and focused.
* Maintaining consistent high standards.
* Being proactively aware of Health and Safety requirements and ensuring they are met.
* Dealing with technical challenges as and when they arise and know when to seek assistance if unsure.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Extensive experience of composite trimming, fitting, bonding and assembly, ideally in Formula One, other motorsport or the automotive industry.
* An ability to understand and interpret technical engineering drawings, assembly instructions and CAD operations for viewing.
* Excellent manual skills and ability to work with hand/air tools.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* A methodical and thorough approach to work.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with the ability to work well with colleagues.
* Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a dependable team player.
* Have a positive attitude and be willing to help throughout the department.
* Work well under pressure to meet time critical deadlines.
* Have a flexible attitude to working hours where required.
* Please note, this role is working on nights.
