About the role: Porchlight is a leading Kent-based charity, providing support to people experiencing mental health issues, homelessness and complex needs. We are seeking a Senior Administrator to join our Services Team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. In this pivotal role, you will support the smooth and effective running of Porchlight’s services by providing high-quality administrative and coordination support. You will play a key role in managing communications, maintaining accurate records, supporting quality and safety processes, and ensuring that information is handled appropriately and efficiently across services. You will work closely with services staff, managers and external partners, acting as a central point of contact and escalating issues or risks where required. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced administrator who is highly organised, people-focused and motivated by working in a values-driven organisation. The role requires: Proven experience in administrative support and coordination roles Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and sensitive approach Confidence using IT systems such as Microsoft Office, databases and case management or CRM systems The ability to work independently, prioritise a busy workload and collaborate effectively as part of a team Experience supporting quality, compliance or safeguarding processes, and an understanding of the charity sector or work with vulnerable people, would be an advantage.
