Salary: £24,790 - £25,183 FTE

A popular school nursery in Kirkby is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025 to April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of children aged 9 months to 4 years, working within a well-resourced, supportive setting that values care, play, and education in equal measure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a key worker for a group of children, supporting their individual learning journeys
2. Model best practice and share knowledge with colleagues to enrich the nursery environment
3. Create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
4. Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and non-teaching headteacher to implement educational strategies and track developmental progress
5. Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities that meet the developmental needs of all learners
What We're Looking For:
6. Experience in a nursery or early years setting
7. Sound knowledge of early childhood development
8. A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
10. A reflective, adaptable approach and a commitment to continued professional growth
