Assistant Store Manager role at Poundland & Dealz. Lead, inspire, and excel – creating amazing value every day. You are the vital link between the Store Manager and the store team, shaping the experiences of both your team and customers in the community you serve. Your day-to-day actions drive sales and you will use your creative flair for merchandising on and off plan to showcase value on GM and FMCG products, aligning with our core values: love our customers, care for our colleagues, and protect the pounds (and euros).
Responsibilities
 * Act as the link between the Store Manager and the store team, supporting the execution of store objectives.
 * Drive sales through customer-focused service and effective merchandising.
 * Lead and develop the team, ensuring onboarding and on-the-job coaching.
 * Support daily operations to maintain a smooth-running store, including pricing and merchandising standards.
 * Lead daily huddles to communicate commercial objectives (sales, service, shrink) and ensure targets are met.

 * Salary: up to £33,271.70 plus benefits
 * Contract Type: Full Time
 * Working Pattern: Permanent
 * Hours: 40.0 per week
