Job Description
This role is based in our 5 Howick Place office.
Reporting into the Head of Business Process Excellence you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end R2R processes. The role involves designing, implementing, and standardizing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, executing key projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across regions and functions to achieve operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.
The role requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to define the R2R strategy, ensuring it is executed through projects, continuous improvement and process standardisation/simplification. It will support and develop requirements for One Informa initiatives that touch R2R processes.
Given Informa’s frequent integrations, the GPO will collaborate with M&A and integrations teams to design a target state that considers process exceptions and will later standardise and simplify these exceptions where appropriate.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Define, implement, maintain and manage the global R2R process, ensuring standardisation and simplification of processes.
* Work with the Delivery team to embed process enhancements while transforming R2R processes to align with standards and policies.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices including continuous improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including delivery teams, other GPOs, divisional finance teams, balance sheet controller, group finance, IT, etc., to align processes and work on key projects.
* Review and enhance KPIs and metrics to monitor process performance, analyse data, and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R process.
* Lead change management efforts across R2R to ensure smooth adoption of process changes and new technologies with appropriate support.
* Provide project oversight and steering committee support, including 2025/2026 planning and tracking across R2R projects in collaboration with the GBS PMO.
* Support integrations, including M&A and Informa International.
* Ensure R2R processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies; mitigate risks and issues identified by the GPO, delivery teams, RACM reviews, and audits.
* Collaborate with IT to implement and optimise R2R systems and tools, ensuring they support global process requirements.
* Review R2R policies and documentation, such as Standard Control Procedures, and recommend adjustments or new policies while keeping existing documentation up‑to‑date.
* Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure key teams and stakeholders understand and adhere to the global R2R processes.
* Enhance the customer experience by addressing month‑end issues, supporting timely and accurate revenue recognition, and advising on technical accounting needs, e.g., trading architecture across projects.
* Lead a team of two global process experts, providing development opportunities.

Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, CIMA, etc.).
* Extensive experience in Record to Report processes, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
* Proven track record of process change, optimisation and continuous improvement.
* Strong stakeholder management experience with influence without direct authority.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data‑driven decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Informa ERPs (SAP and Oracle) and understanding of key R2R software, e.g., Blackline.
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broad multi‑functional team.
* Familiarity with automation and transformation in the R2R domain.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
