We have a 28.8-hour vacancy on a 5-week rota starting at 6am at Rutland Memorial Hospital within our Estates and Facilities Directorate.
As a Facilities Assistant, you will provide an effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of cleaning, portering, and catering.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)

All roles involve duties across our Trust sites and support services to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective service for patients, staff, and visitors.
1. Preparing and regenerating patient meals at ward level daily.
2. Providing a patient-focused cleaning and domestic service to meet NHS cleanliness standards within designated areas.
3. Providing portering services, including transporting linen cages, waste bins/carts, and patient moves between departments.
This role requires rotation between responsibilities as needed.
