Interim Senior Finance Officer (Temporary) – Lincoln - £35k-£40k Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a temporary Senior Finance Officer to support our clients Head of Finance in a small, friendly finance team during a period of transition. This role is ideal for a hands-on, adaptable finance professional who can support the smooth running of the accounting functions. In order to be considered for this role you will need to be available to start immediately or at short notice. What’s on offer to the Senior Finance Officer Flexible working hours – Full-time 35 hours 25 days holidays (Pro rata) Bank holidays Christmas closure Enhanced pension The role of the Senior Finance Officer Responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts, forecasts and variance analysis Responsible for the processing of monthly payroll ensuring that payroll accounts are reconciled and invoiced within agreed timetables Responsible for the monthly administration and reconciliation of the company pension scheme Responsible for reconciling control and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis Complete the quarterly VAT return Support with the implementation of the new financial system Support the Head of Finance with any ad hoc tasks Assist with the production of the year end statutory accounts
