Job Description
We are working with a leading global insurance group seeking a Cyber Catastrophe Analyst to join a specialist cyber risk team. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, catastrophe modelling, and cyber risk, supporting the development of underwriting strategy and risk insights across an international portfolio.
You will work on cyber exposure data, scenario modelling, and loss quantification, helping shape the organisation’s view of cyber risk and supporting key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and process cyber exposure and claims data to generate actionable insights
* Support scenario development and catastrophe modelling for cyber risk
* Contribute to PML calculations and portfolio risk assessment
* Produce reports and dashboards (Excel / Power BI) for stakeholders
* Collaborate with internal teams and external model vendors
* Support innovation in data collection, including potential use of machine learning techniques
Requirements
* Experience in catastrophe modelling, exposure management, or risk analytics
* Strong skills in Python or R, plus advanced Excel (SQL beneficial)
* Understanding of statistics and probability
* Interest or experience in cyber risk / cyber insurance
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
