Priority Plant, a prominent player in the operated road sweeper sector, is in search of a dynamic Operations Manager to join our busy transport and sales office. This pivotal role will be integral to leading our sales team, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Sales Team Leadership: Take charge of leading the sales team, setting ambitious yet achievable goals, and providing guidance and support to ensure targets are met.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with current customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty, while also proactively identifying and onboarding new customers to expand our client base.
• Overseeing Systems and Processes: Manage and refine existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations within the office.
• Identifying Opportunities for Improvement: Continuously assess operations to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions to drive growth and optimize performance.
• Anticipating and Tracking Risks: Proactively identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
• Providing Strategic Solutions: Leverage your expertise to provide strategic insights and solutions that align with business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
• Managing Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day activities within the office, maintaining high standards of performance and efficiency.
• Reporting on Project Status: Provide regular reports on the status of projects and operations, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.
• Managing Budgets and Forecasts: Take ownership of managing budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial objectives are met while optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the transportation or rental industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve targets and drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Compensation and Benefits:
