We are recruiting for a Buyer Planner on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham. The job: Buyer Planner Duration: Temp to Perm Salary: Up to £14 per hour (Equivalent to £27,300 per annum) Location: Nottingham Shift: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:30am – 3:45pm (37.5 hours per week) ________________________________________ WHAT WILL YOU DO DAY TO DAY? •Analyse and review raw material and finished goods stock levels •Co-ordinate supply of materials within defined inventory levels •Liaise with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and other departments regarding supply or stock issues •Work with Purchasing on supplier development and inventory management •Manage consignment stock agreements with suppliers •Resolve material control issues and discrepancies •Make independent decisions relating to materials control within set limits •Raise production orders as required •Provide costing, reporting, and statistical information as needed ________________________________________ THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: •Knowledge in materials buying or planning •Strong experience using Microsoft packages such as excel •Strong organisational and communication skills •________________________________________ WHY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE? •Opportunity to join a global leading company •Career pr...
