Provide core technical support within the Design and Technology department and work flexibly across the school in all technician disciplines.
Responsible for whole school technical support within Design and Technology, Science, and Digital Technology, with regard to Health and Safety.
Ensure support services are provided efficiently and in an organized manner.
This role mainly involves supporting practical work in the school’s Design and Technology department, such as Woodworking, Metalwork, and Design and Manufacture.
Qualifications and experience should include mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metalworking, mechanical maintenance, etc.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is required upon appointment. Candidates will need to pay for their PVG Membership or Scheme Checks.
