The Role
The postholder will ensure children attending the Developmental Programme for 2-3 year-olds and other SureStart programmes have the best start in life by providing a safe, welcoming, high-quality, inclusive early education environment. The role involves working to improve learning, health, and social development of children from ante-natal to four years old. The postholder should work in partnership with families to promote positive parenting and support parents as first educators.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Criteria:
* NVQ Level II in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
* One year's experience working with young children in paid, voluntary, or training/placement capacity.
Desirable Criteria:
* NVQ III in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
* Full current driving license enabling driving in NI and access to a vehicle for official purposes or reliable transportation to meet the role's requirements.
