Active Tiverton is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pilates Instructor to lead a new Pilates class for members of all fitness levels. Our ideal candidate is passionate about fitness and wellness and has the ability to guide our members toward their goals with motivating and safe instruction.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver the Pilates class tailored to various skill levels, ensuring safety, proper form, and progressive improvements.
2. Conduct initial assessments for new participants, providing feedback on posture and movement.
3. Create an inclusive, positive atmosphere that fosters growth, health, and well-being.
Requirements:
1. Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates (or equivalent qualification), which is the standard for leading Pilates classes in the UK.
2. Experience with specialist groups, such as older adults or clients needing adaptations, is desirable.
3. Ability to lead, instruct, and motivate participants in a class setting.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Previous experience in group fitness instruction.
Bonus Incentive:
To reward our instructors for growing participation, we offer an additional £0.50 per person for every participant above 14 per class - giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings while delivering outstanding sessions.
