We are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from June or September 2026. The Role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
KS5 teaching opportunities may also be available
Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, and environments
Use creative teaching approaches to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, urbanisation, and ecosystems to life
Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support students of all abilities
Monitor progress through effective feedback and assessment strategies
Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities, fieldwork, and departmental initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
A Geography specialist with strong subject knowledge
Confident, engaging, and positive classroom presence
Passionate about teaching and student achievement
Reflective and adaptable approach to learning and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
