Cookley Sebright Primary School is a one-form entry primary school, set in the heart of the village of Cookley, near Kidderminster. Main purpose The role of School Office Administrator is pivotal in our school as you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and parents. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and respectful, with a strong commitment to building positive relationships with children, parents, governors, staff, and visitors. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and work effectively as part of a team. Experience of working in a school environment, and especially knowledge of school management systems and attendance procedures is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. As part of the role, you will be required to provide excellent administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher and other leaders such as the SENCO and Attendance Lead. This role reports to the School Business Manager. Post-holder attributes: A people person - able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written - and a willingness to foster positive relationships within school and the wider community. Positive, enthusiastic, with a ‘can do’ flexible approach and keen to work as part of a busy and dynamic school. Highly organised with an excellent eye for detail and ability to multi-task. Able to see the bigger picture and do as much as possible to help others do their job. Excellent written and spoken English. Calm and empathetic – a good listener. A confident user of a range of IT applications – knowledge of OneDrive, Word and Excel or Google equivalent is essential.
