Process and Product Development Engineer

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting new process technologies and equipment, as well as the development of advanced coated products. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day process expertise and technical support to production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Coordinate product adjustments and manage process start-ups to maintain high-quality output.
* Use statistical analysis to quantify performance data and drive production optimisation.
* Respond to production-related process issues using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
* Lead and support process improvements and new product development projects, including internal and external trials.
* Manage trials on our Coater line and at customer sites to evaluate new products and technologies.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with production teams, managers, and engineers regarding product quality and process parameters.
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment is desirable, but not essential graduates with strong technical aptitude will also be considered.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and lead when required.
* Knowledge of coating processes, statistical tools, or WCM methodologies would be an advantage.
