Temp All Staffing are recruiting senior health care assistant for our client based in Clacton on Sea. Our client has several care homes in Clacton. The successful candidate will be patient and caring and able to provide a quality service to residents within a care home environment whilst enabling them to lead an active and independent life. You will be professionally leading the care team during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient care service is maintained to meet the needs of residents.

Job Role
4. Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity.
5. To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
6. Ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff, and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
7. Ensure the safe and effective administration of medication, maintaining responsibility for its proper management, administration, and accurate documentation.
8. Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
9. Supervise care staff on a day-to-day basis and through formal supervision processes.
10. Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that residents receive the medical and clinical support they require
Education, Skills and Qualifications
11. A minimum qualification of Level 2 in Health and Social Care, willingness to work towards level 3
12. Good verbal and written skills
13. Good observational skills
14. The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships
