Academic Mentor – Graduate Role in English or Maths

Daily Rate: £89 – £95 (PAYE)
Overview:
Are you a recent graduate in English, Maths, or a related subject with aspirations to work in education? One of our partner schools in Tameside is seeking an Academic Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4. This is an excellent stepping stone into teacher training or educational psychology.
Responsibilities:
* Provide small group and 1:1 intervention in Maths or English.
* Support low-attaining pupils and those at risk of underachieving.
* Deliver structured booster sessions using school-provided materials.
* Work under the guidance of the department lead and SEN team.
Requirements:
* A 2:1 degree or above in English, Maths, or a related field.
* Confident communication and presentation skills.
* Previous experience working with young people is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
