SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role in Longsight (Starting October 2025) Teaching Personnel is delighted to partner with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in Longsight to recruit a dedicated full-time SEN Teaching Assistant. This position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, starting in October 2025, and focuses on providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs. Key Responsibilities Provide targeted SEN support to pupils individually and in small groups Assist teachers in planning and delivering personalised learning activities Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help create an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to promote pupil development Track pupil progress and adapt support as needed What We’re Looking For GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience supporting children with SEN Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach when working with young learners Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certification or willingness to complete training Why Join Teaching Personnel?
