Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Care Home
THE COMPANY:
We are a specialist children's residential care home provider based in Northampton, providing therapeutic care for children with complex needs in solo residential homes. We are currently seeking an experienced senior care worker or deputy manager to join our team. We value everyone as an individual and provide high quality training, including PRICE Training, Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care, attachment, and more. All of our young people receive direct support from psychologists and/or other therapists, who also provide training and support to the staff team.
THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manger or ambitions Senior Care Worker to join our team.
You will be pivotal in leading shifts and the running of the home. We are a growing company, so there is room for you to grow with us. We are happy to put you on your NVQ Level 5 and train you to become a registered manager.
As a small company with only two care homes, we aim to have a family feel and welcome people who show initiative and creativity.
The role :
* To deputise in the absence of the registered manager
* Manage team training days & perform supervisions of some staff
* Assist the registered manager in maintaining standards
* Guide and mentor the staff team
The successful candidate will have the following:
* QCF Level 5 leadership & management in residential childcare (Desired)
* QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare (Required)-
* Proven understanding of Ofsted requirements-
* Great understanding of the effects of trauma and attachment-
