We are looking for a part time Showroom Sales Assistant.
We are a family run retail mobility business with 5 showrooms in Wiltshire and Somerset. We offer mobility scooters, adjustable beds, rise and recline chairs, powerchairs, wheelchairs and a whole host of other aids to help people with medical conditions that are affecting their mobility.
Full training will be provided on our products and you will work alongside the outgoing manager during the training period.
Sales experience is preferred although not necessarily within the mobility industry. Good communication and the ability to empathise with people's needs is essential.
The Showroom Sales Assistant will help to ensure excellent customer service and the smooth running of the showroom whilst the manager is away. The role involves selling and demonstrating our mobility products. The range includes mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs, adjustable beds, rise and recline chairs, wheelchairs and all sorts of walking and daily living aids.
Checking out customers sales and processing payments.
Ensuring stock is priced and kept up to date.
Enthusiasm for our products and the ways they can improve peoples lives is a must to be able to succeed within our business.
The showroom is open 7 days a week. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to fill this role that can commit to cover at least 2 days a week. There is an element of flexibility to the actual working days but it will always be at least two days a week. There would be the opportunity for more hours when the manager is on annual leave.
The maximum daily hours available would be 7.5 hours, the minimum per day would be 6 hours, which is on a Sunday.
Salary is made up of hours worked and commission on sales.
