Assistant Controller – Overview
You are an independent and highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting. Your ability to collaborate and drive results supports our Finance team while maintaining a supportive stance toward our business partners.
Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements.
* Assist the Global Corporate Controller in overseeing organization accounting functions and the reporting of financial data.
* Support the Corporate Controller in directing company accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and practices.
* Maintain accounting and reporting policies, practices, and procedures.
* Manage all aspects of consolidated financial information and preparation of internal and external financial reports for Bacardi Limited Senior Management, shareholders, directors, and audit committees.
* Drive a culture of stewardship with a focus on robust internal control, ensuring the internal control environment is strong, particularly emphasizing SOX controls.
* Assist in providing clear, concise accounting guidance and implementing policies and procedures.
* Manage the coordination of the Bacardi Limited consolidated reporting process and timeliness.
* Build strong matrixed relationships with Regional Controllers and Finance Directors.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience and track record of work in a global, matrixed organization.
* Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and US GAAP.
* Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple complex projects to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
* Sound understanding of internal controls, standards, and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in finance reporting.
* Full grasp of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, CAPEX).
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* Demonstrable skill in working in partnership with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
* Proven experience leading large teams across multiple locations, motivating and inspiring groups at a group leadership level.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining complex information to audiences with varying levels of knowledge.
* Ability to find solutions through analytical, interpretive, and innovative thinking.

Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
* Master’s degree or CPA required.
