Construction & Infrastructure Solicitor | All Levels (NQ+ up to LD) | Leeds

Contentious and Non Contentious opportunities

Full and Part time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's most highly regarded construction and infrastructure practices, as this law firm continues an ambitious growth trajectory in its Leeds office.

The Firm

A Law Firm of the Year award winner with a clear and well-backed mandate for growth. The Leeds construction team is at the heart of this — with three signed-off business cases and a pipeline of work that outstrips current capacity. This is a rare chance to join at a pivotal moment, with genuine scope to make your mark.

The team of lawyers handle technically complex, high-profile work for blue-chip clients across the development, public sector, utilities, infrastructure and nuclear new build sectors. The breadth and quality of work here is genuinely exceptional.

The Culture

This is a team that retains its people — both key partners have been with the firm for over 20 years, and they are not alone. The team is collaborative, sociable and genuinely happy.

All partners within the team are home-grown, and the firm promotes heavily from within. If partnership is your ambition, the pathway is real.

This is a firm that prioritises its people and its regional offices — with a strong commitment to Leeds as a key growth hub.

For those who want variety beyond the office, there are secondment opportunities both nationally and internationally.

The Role

They are looking to recruit at all levels from NQ up to Legal Director level into the non contentious and contentious construction teams respectively, and are keen to hear from ambitious lawyers who want to be part of something exciting.

* Critically, they are genuinely open-minded on background. Whilst construction experience is naturally welcome, the team has a strong track record of successfully integrating lawyers from a wide range of disciplines, including:Energy, engineering and infrastructure
* Commercial, projects or IP
* In-house legal teams
* Those with an engineering or technical background
* London relocators
* Private practice and in-house lawyers alike

What matters most is strong academics, the ability to pick things up quickly, and the ambition to thrive in a technically challenging, high-quality environment.

Full-time and part-time arrangements will both be considered.

Informal conversations very welcome!

If you are interested or would simply like a confidential conversation to find out more, please get in touch with Kim Wilkes at Think Legal Recruitment.

The partners are personally happy to have informal chats or coffees with anyone curious — there is no pressure and no formality required to explore this further.
