Overview
Police Officer - Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Stirling. The British Transport Police are recruiting Police Officers across Scotland. You will protect passengers, staff and the public, with responsibilities including visible patrolling, responding to emergencies, conducting criminal investigations, gathering intelligence, and building trust with communities. The campaign covers locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Stirling. What You Will Do / Responsibilities
* Visible patrolling and responding to emergencies.
* Investigating crimes, gathering intelligence, and addressing issues such as graffiti and theft.
* Engaging with communities to build trust and provide public reassurance.
* Operate across a wide range of duties, from proactive crime prevention to serious and organised crime investigations.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and potential specialization in areas such as CID, Counter-Terrorism, and other police specialisms.

* Strong communication skills, good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
* Empathy, emotional resilience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* No prior policing experience required; drive to make a difference and handle diverse situations.
* You must have permanent right to live and work in the UK and have resided in the UK for the past 3 years.
