As a Home Condition Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping how we invest in and care for our homes. Working predominantly out in the field across our schemes, you'll spend much of your time on site, carrying out condition assessments and helping to ensure our asset data is accurate, reliable and evidence‑led. * Provide insight and analysis to support the development of evidence‑led asset investment programmes.
* Support improvements to asset data governance and investment planning processes.
* Ensure assessments and recommendations align with organisational priorities, risk levels and customer needs.

Qualifications

* Practical understanding of property condition or building pathology.
* Experience of updating, checking or maintaining datasets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Ability to work constructively with colleagues across different disciplines, asking thoughtful questions and challenging assumptions respectfully.
* Professional qualification in housing, construction or surveying (or working towards one).
* Experience using Keystone or other asset management, housing or repairs systems (desirable).

Eligibility

* This role is not eligible for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without requiring a CoS.
* Sector: Fixed‑term contract (12 months) or secondment opportunity for internal colleagues.

* Hours: Full‑time, 37 hours per week.

Benefits

* Generous annual leave: 26 days (plus bank holidays), rising to 30 days with length of service; option to purchase up to 5 extra days (prorated for part‑time roles).
* Pension: Up to 9% employer contribution under designated contribution scheme.
* Health benefits: Health care cash plan (up to £1,100 per year), virtual GP services, discounted gym memberships, retail discounts including Blue Light Card.
* Learning and development: Ongoing personal and professional growth opportunities.
