Assistant Greenkeeper – Bellshill Golf Club
Bellshill Golf Club is seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Greenkeeper to join our course maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in turf management and golf course presentation within a supportive, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily course set-up including greens, tees, and competition preparation
* Mowing of greens, tees, fairways, approaches and rough
* Bunker preparation and maintenance
* Divoting, turf repairs and course improvement works
* Operation of specialist turf machinery
* Assisting with irrigation, drainage and winter projects
* Supporting high presentation standards across all playing areas
Requirements:
• Experience in greenkeeping, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred
* Relevant turf qualification (or working toward one) required
* Good work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Willingness to work early starts and occasional weekend rota
* Full driving licence beneficial but not essential
