Job Overview
A leading electrical contractor is looking for an experienced M&E Project Administrator for a new build commercial office project in Manchester (M2). The role starts on 27/05/2025, lasts 6-8 months, and is based in Manchester. Working hours are Monday‑Thursday 7 – 5 and Friday 7 – 2 (45 hours per week). A CSCS/ECS card is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the project management team with daily administration of M&E projects, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
* Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, drawings, and specifications; prepare progress reports and assist with invoicing and billing.
* Coordinate project scheduling, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and work adheres to timelines.
* Act as a primary contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and handling queries efficiently.
* Assist in procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractors, tracking deliveries.
* Support the project manager in ensuring health and safety regulations are followed on site and documentation is maintained.
* Help track budgets and control costs, reporting any issues.
* Assist with contract preparation and review, ensuring compliance and resolving issues.
* Support in closing projects, completing documentation and final account settlements.
Qualifications
* CSCS/ECS card required.
* Experience in M&E project administration.
Compensation
Pay rate is negotiable (CIS Payment).
