We are recruiting for a creative and driven Social Media and Marketing Assistant. This is a newly created role and you will genuinely be working from a blank canvass.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance the brand presence and engage audiences.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, with the ability to create captivating content.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
* Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each social media platform.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback, responding promptly to enhance community engagement.
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure social media campaigns meet objectives.
* Analyse performance to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to keep our brand relevant.
* Assist in managing public relations efforts through social media channels to promote positive brand image.
Experience
* Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media platforms.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
* Proficiency in using social media management tools.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and proactive in your approach.
* A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that capture audience interest.
