Your new company You will work for a recognised hospitality business who are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant, focussed on Property & Real Estate. Your new role Processing invoices related to Property & Real Estate elements of the business including store rents & maintenance, service charges, and business rates Ensuring invoices match lease agreements, service charge statements, and council demands Preparation and processing of payment runs Supporting month end and year end processes including accruals, prepayments Investigation and resolution of invoice and payment discrepancies Maintaining rates and lease payment schedules Cashflow forecasting Partnering with various internal and external stakeholders including landlords, managing agents, local councils, property and store operations teams Maintaining financial records Ensuring UK accounting standards compliance Providing support to internal and external audit What you'll need to succeed Recent relevant experience working in a similar Finance Assistant role. It is essential that you have strong experience/knowledge working in the property industry, specifically with service charge experience. Detail focused and highly motivated. Comfortable working across multiple systems including intermediate Excel skills. Preference to be working towards or AAT qualified.
