Responsibilities for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:
6. Managing an already-established team of professional software developers
7. Overseeing the production, deployment, and continued development of the company’s core product across the environmental sector, focusing on strategy and business development
8. Ensuring the continued maintenance of the company’s core products and services, to the highest of standards
9. Taking responsibility for the long-term quality and security of the Source Code
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:
10. A UK Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Data Science, Advanced Computer Science, or a similar, relevant field
11. Extensive experience of working in a Full Stack Developer role
12. Experience of developing software products for use in the environmental sector
13. Considerable experience of overseeing the Full Software System Lifecycle of a product, demonstrating your commitment to extensive development and improvement
14. Demonstrable experience in the use of Java Middleware, API, Docker, and MQ systems
15. Good working knowledge of performance and security in Enterprise Systems
16. Experience of working with networks: LAN & WAN/Internet and Security
17. Prior experience of Database Access Design and Application Optimisation
18. Demonstrable experience of working with Human Computer Interaction (HCI) in Software Systems, including Machine-to-Machine Automation Technologies
19. Keen proficiency in Software System Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment Strategies for High Availability
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:
20. Experience of developing software products for use within a Water/Hydrological Environment (e.g. flood risk and mitigation, water quality, etc.)
21. Prior experience with Deep Learning Neural Network Platforms
22. Previous experience with Enterprise Linux Platforms
23. Experience of leading/mentoring a team of developers
