We are currently partnering with a Local Government based in Norfolk, who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to support their accomplished team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week, the rate of pay will be negotiable based upon experience, start date is subject to notice. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Managing the transfer of land from District to Parish or Community Group level, including assisting in the leasehold/freehold transfer of a number of car park assets to Parish Councils Handling a mixed caseload of active property files, including complex title reports and intricate land law issues Providing support for standard local government legal work during quieter project periods Discussing and negotiating the terms of any property interest and then bringing that to a legal close Assisting with overflow on an ad-hoc basis Experience required: Experience required in a Local Government Setting Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant property law experience Proficient in handling large caseloads and working with minimal supervision Working hours: 35 hours per week Onsite presence required Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
